Pair of late 18th-century Directoire-era candlesticks in silver-plated bronze, converted into lamps.
Round bases decorated with pearl friezes; fluted shafts.
New electrical wiring: gold-plated brass sockets for E27 screw-in bulbs, new wiring.
The electrical wiring runs through the interior of the candlestick.
The pyramid-shaped lampshades were crafted from Manuel Canovas “Sophie” fabric in Jade (turquoise blue).
