Carcel lamp in crackled cream-colored painted sheet metal, shaped like a crater with volutes (antique vase), 19th century.
The volute handles are supported by caryatids.
The decoration features musical attributes: a tambourine on one side and a panpipe on the other.
Octagonal base.
New wiring: gilt brass socket for an E27 screw-in bulb mounted on a ball joint, new wire.
The power supply is routed through the inside of the base.
Its square Spanish-style lampshade was created from an antique Braquenié “Exotic Butterflies” fabric with taupe satin.
