Antique ormolu and gilded brass oil lamp forming a stylized Corinthian-order column from the 19th century.
Rests on a square base.
New electrification: gilded brass socket for E27 screw-in bulb, new wire.
The power supply assembly passes through the inside of the base.
The rectangular-shaped lampshade was created from fabric decorated with gallant scenes in Antique-style landscapes.
The Corinthian columns on one side of the lampshade are a reminder of the lamp’s base.
Note : the gilding on the base shows a beautiful patina.
