Large pair of “Carcel” type lamps in black painted sheet metal and polished brass, mid-19th century.
Their shape is inspired by Doric order columns.
New electrification: gilded brass sockets for E27 screw-in bulbs, new wires.
The power supply assembly passes through the inside of the feet.
The pointed oval-shaped shades have been created from a fabric with Chinoiserie decoration.
