Early 20th century polished silver-plated metal candlestick in the Louis XVI style, converted into a lamp.
Fluted stem, round base with gadroons.
New wiring: gilt brass socket mounted on a ball joint to allow the lampshade to be positioned upright, new wire.
The power supply is routed through the inside of the base.
Its pointed oval lampshade was created from Manuel Canovas’ “Sophie” fabric in the Jade colorway.
This lampshade shape has the advantage of being shallow, ideal for mantelpieces and consoles.

Note: slight wear to the silver plating.
