Pair of Louis XVI style silver-plated metal table candlesticks, 20th century, converted into lamps.
Square bases, fluted stems, and asparagus-shaped finials.
New wiring: candles, gilt brass sockets for E27 screw-in bulbs, new wires.
The power supply is routed through the inside of the candlesticks.
Their oval lampshades were created from Braquenié fabric, “Le Grand Corail.”
This lampshade shape has the advantage of being shallow, ideal for mantelpieces or consoles.
