A Louis XVI period carved and gilded wooden wall console.
The fluted legs are decorated with asparagus-shaped finials.
The apron is adorned with carved wooden laurel garlands, interlacing patterns, pearls, and small flowers.
The original molded top is made of pink Pyrenees marble.
The stretcher is surmounted by an antique-style cassolette intertwined with laurel.
Original gold leaf gilding.
Note: there is a small chip at the top of the right foot at the back, visible in photo #7.
