Blackened And Painted Wooden Planter, Napoleon III Period No. 1
Blackened pearwood planter, Napoleon III period, second half of the 19th century. The cylindrical tub with double ogee is decorated all around with a painted decoration of vine branches, bouquets of flowers and arabesques. The latter rests on a tripod base also decorated with gilded arabesques.
Original waterproof zinc tub.
